Call to artists for Bud Light Hellow Festival 2017
Bud Light Hellow Festival + Global Inheritance join forces to promote the Art of Recycling In Monterrey.
Are you ready for the main stage, where you can inspire millions to start recycling, and rethink reducing and reusing our trash?, do you have a unique idea for redesigning a recycling bin?, if you’ve answered yes to those questions, seize the moment and submit your artwork today!.
Send us your concepts and samples of your prior work, and you might be one of ten lucky artists selected to redesign a 65-gallon recycling bin for Bud Light Hellow Festival. Submit your concepts by July 23, 2017. Whether you’re a world famous personality or just Grandma’s favorite, this is a perfect opportunity to exhibit your art and save rogue bottles and cans from landfill.
Submitting your artwork

The selection process
Bud Light Hellow Festival Art of Recycling collection will consist of works by 10 artists. Artists will be selected based on a number of variables and factors, including, but not limited to: concept, prior artwork, appropriateness/relevance for the festival (and for schools afterwards), diversity of the collection as a whole, etc. It's a rolling application process, so the earlier you submit, the better your chances. The final list of selected artists will be announced July 25th.
All confirmed artists will receive a blank 65-gallon recycling bin, a $100 US art budget and a 6" miniature recycling bin to reimagine and redesign, as well as 2 VIP passes to Bud Light Hellow Festival.
Monterrey Schools
After Bud Light Hellow Festival, the Art of Recycling bins will be donated to K-12 schools across Monterrey. Artists should make sure that designs are appropriate for a youthful learning environment! :) If you’re looking to secure redesigned recycling bins for your school, email us for additional info at Hellow@globalinheritance.org.
