Bud Light Hellow Festival

Kendrick Lamar

Bitch don’t Kill my vibe!...Kendrick Lamar has been named the best rapper in the world and he has earned this title. With the support of Dr. Dre all along his career, he released Good Kid, m.a.a.d. city in 2012, selling 500,000 copies and was considered the best rap album of its year.

Lamar, the man of the hour, has been nominated for 22 Grammy awards, winning seven of them.

Recently, he released his latest album, DAMN, with fourteen tracks that went straight to Billboard’s Hot 100 and Spotify charts during its first week.

Among his collaborations with other artists we can mention “Bad Blood”, with Taylor Swift, “Freedom”, with Beyoncé; “Loyalty”, with Rihanna; “Sidewalks”, with The Weeknd and “XXX” with U2.

This is the first time Kendrick will be in mexican territory, where he will make us sing along and dance with his effusive performance and unbelievable production.

LCD Soundsystem

Several media outlets have declared James Murphy, the man behind LCD Soundsystem, one of the coolest people in the planet.

This north American indie rock band is considered among the biggest musicians as a classic and fundamental act in music history.

After releasing their supposed final album “This is Happening”, in 2010, Murphy announced that the band will disintegrate. We believed we would not see them again.

That changed last year, when they were confirmed as one of the headliners of Coachella. They are currently working on their next album, which is expected to be released during the summer.

That is why this is the perfect moment to enjoy LCD Soundsystem live act, with hits like “Daft Punk is playing at my house” and “I can change “for the first time in Monterrey.

DJ Snake

You surely know all of the hits that this French DJ has made no.1 in chart positioning. Collaborations such as “Let me Love You”, with Justin Bieber; “Lean On”, with Major Lazer; and “Turn Down For What”, with Lil Jon make him a key component in nowadays most popular songs.

We are counting down the days until we dance to the rhythm of “Middle”, one of the led him to global chart domination.

Steve Aoki

This legendary DJ is ranked in number seven of the prestigious 100 DJs list. The Aoki last name refers to unreachable status in electronic music. He has remixed a variety of big names that includes Drake, Lenny Kravitz, Bloc Party, Snoop Dogg, Robin Thicke, SPA, Kid Cud, Chester French and Peaches.

His most recent hit, “Just hold on”, with Louis Tomlinson, entered the Billboard and Spotify charts during its first week.

He is definitely one of Monterrey’s audience favorite artists and we know that his set at Bud Light Hellow Festival 2017 will be the funniest. Woop! Woop!.

Weezer

Weezer is one of Rock and Roll’s most iconic bands. With a twenty-five years career and repertoire, they can take us to a roller coaster of emotions, with cult songs like “My name is Jonas”, “Buddy Holly”, “Hash Pipe” and “Island in the sun”. They have sold 17 million copies worldwide, won Grammy’s and MTV Music Awards.

Last March, they released “Feels like summer”, the first single from the new album “Weezer (The black album)”. This new music proved that they remain a timeless aggrupation.

Zeds Dead

This EDM Canadian duo began on 2009. Their music reflects the cultural diversity in their country and United Kingdom.

Dylan Mamid AKA DC, and Zachary Rapp-Rovan, AKA Hooks, are part of Zeds Dead.

Kinky

Their sound mixes rock, dance, funk and techno with bilingual lyrics. Kinky an internationally successful career that spans through twenty years and six studio albums.

Considered one of the fundamental bands in mexican music industry, they will make us dance with hits like “Presidente”, “Sister Twisted” and “Negro día”.

The Horrors

Conformed by front man Faris Badwan, guitarist Joshua von Grimm, bassist Tomethy Furse, drummer Coffin Joe and keyboardist Rhys “Spider” Webb.

They are listed among the best alternative music bands and began their career in 2006 with the hit song “Sheen is a parasite”, which gave them international fame.

The Horrors gives the impression that they will create music that you have to feel instead of understand.

Now, after four albums, they arrive from England to be part of Bud Light Hellow Festival 2017.

Cash Cash

This trio formed in Roseland is conformed by brothers Jean Paul and Alex Makhlouf and Samuel Frish.

They play house music and have recorded three albums with hits like “Every time we touch” or the single “Take me home”, with Bebe Rexha.

Sofi Tukker

The success of Sofi Tukker was everything but planned. Short time after their debut, this duo based in New York and consist of Sophie Hawley-Weld and Tucker Halpern, had shown that they were born talented.

This year they caught out attention by receiving a Grammy nomination for their single “Drinkee”, which has more than 20 million plays in Spotify.

Soffi Tukker’s music incorporates tropical rhythms, bongos, electric guitars and other elements that make our body moves.

Feed Me

Jon Gooch, aka FEED ME made his debut in 2008 as the first acquisition at Mau5trap, Dead Mau5 record label.

He increased his hits list remixing band like Chase & Straus, Nero, Gorillaz and Robyn. He is definitely one of the DJs of the moment, with incredible live sets that will make you dance.

Neon Indian

Named one of bests indie bands by Rolling Stone magazine, Neon Indian has reached another level.

Alan Palomo, the man behind this Project, debuted with “Psychic Chasms” to good reviews, which led him to release other songs like “Should have taken acid with you”.

Dombresky

During his career he has made a name in Deep House. Dombresky will be in Monterrey for the first time to share with us songs like “Utopia” and “Too Much in common”, both Spotify hits.

Gnash

Garrett, AKA Gnash, defines his music as an emotional guide. Among his tracks we can mention “U”, “Home” y “I Hate U, I love u”, which was an international phenomenon registering 500 million streams in Spotify.

Helado Negro

Roberto Carlos Lange, better known as Helado Negro, is son of ecuadorian immigrants in Florida. His upbringing was key in his music style.

Helado Negro is a one man Project and a constant collaborator that has made music with Sufjan Stevens, Julianna Barwick, Wilco and Mouse of Mars.

Bia

In only four years, Bia went from appearing on the tv show Oxygen Sisterhood of Hip Hop to creating a hymn for Gucci Mane return to the real world (“Gucci comin Home”) with the support of her mentor, Pharrell Williams.

She is currently working on a new project titled “Knock on Wood”, expected to be released later this year.

Lione

Lione made his debut in 2016 in Los Angeles. And it did not took him too long to ge into the charts. His track “Leave this place” was immediately embraced by music fans.

This will be his first time visiting Monterrey with his electrifying and irresistible beats.

Jesse Baez

Baez is part of Finesse, a mexican record label that has give new live to R&B in spanish with a 90s influence. Born in Puerto Rico, Jesse is relatively new to the music scene, but in short time he has positioned his songs like “Apaga la luz” and “Frecuencias”, becoming one of Monterrey’s favorites.

Teen Flirt

David Oranday, AKA Teen Flirt is a DJ and producer from Monterrey who has captivated young audiences´ attention thanks to his electrifying R&B and Synth-pop.

You cannot miss his set on Hellow Festival.

Girl Ultra

With a very glitter style that incorporates traditional meixcan music, Nan de Miguel (Girl Ultra) will take you back to the 80’s.

Rhythms like R&B and different mixes make this mexican singer takes you to the past and future at the same time. She has collaborated with artists like Wet Baes.

Girl Ultra is ready to hit the stage at Hellow Festival’s eight edition.

Vagabonds

This electronic duo mixes urban music, disco and funk with surprising results. They use a variety of instruments and percussions that allow them to create original and remixed songs.

Vagabonds were the opening act for Beyoncé, Bruno Mars and Intocable among many others. In 2015 they released “Le Funk”, their first EP, which includes for original tracks.

In 2016 they collaborated with Morenito de Fuego in the song “Fiyah Funk” and lately they have been promoting the single “Synamite”, that features de vocals of Daniel Cantisani.
